Our evening menu is served from 6.00 pm until 8.45 pm and we also offer a 'Specials Board' which changes daily. Be sure to ask what our Specials are before you order your meal. We use the finest ingredients supporting local Yorkshire farmers and producers.

Some of our meals may contain ingredients which affect people with allergies (e.g nuts, gluten and dairy etc etc). If you are intolerant to specific foods, please make us aware when ordering and our staff are more than happy to give you advice on suitable recipe dishes that we can adapt to suit your needs. (GF) - Gluten free option available. Please ask when ordering.

Home made Steak & Ale Pie
a proper piece of pie with chunks of beef cooked slowly in a rich real ale gravy encased in home made shortcrust pastry.

Roast Topside of Yorkshire Beef & Yorkshire Pudding (GF)
Served with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables & onion gravy. 

Sirloin Steak (GF)
A prime cut of sirloin (approx 10oz) cooked to your liking served with vine tomatoes, mushrooms and onion rings.

Yorkshire Hotpot
Tender chunks of beef in a rich gravy served in a giant Yorkshire pudding topped with crispy sliced potatoes.

a generous piece of pie with tender lean pieces of lamb in minty gravy surrounded by home made shortcrust pastry.

Gammon & Egg (GF)
A large gammon steak topped with a fried egg and served with vine tomatoes, mushrooms and onion rings.

Jumbo Crispy Fish & Chips (GF)
haddock/cod served with home cooked chips, mushy peas or garden peas and home made tartare sauce.

Whitby Breaded Wholetail Scampi
succulent pieces of wholetail scampi in bread crumbs served with chips, mushy peas or garden peas & tartare sauce,

Luxury Fishermans Pie (GF)
cod/ haddock, salmon and prawns in a creamy parsley sauce, topped with piped mashed potatoes and cheese.

Chicken Curry
chunks of chicken, peppers and mushrooms in a rich medium hot curry sauce. Served with rice and naan bread.

All main courses served with vegetables or salad and potatoes or home cooked chips unless otherwise stated.

Stone Baked Pizzas

An authentic Italian style 12 inch thin crust pizza with a tomato base topped with cheese and mozzarella and a choice of 2 toppings from the list included in the price. Extra toppings available for a small fee.

Choose from:- Ham, Chicken, Pepperoni, Salami, Parma Ham, Tuna, Prawns, Mushrooms, Pineapple, Onions, Jalepenos, Peppers, Olives, Sweetcorn, Anchovies, Fresh tomato, Black cheddar! Goats cheese, Blue cheese or extra cheese.

Our own `Wood-Fired Oven` baked Pizzas available June - October Thursday - Saturday 6pm until 9pm.

Mixed Carvery Salad / Chefs Salad
a selection of our home-cooked meats including ham, beef and chicken served with coleslaw and market fresh mixed salad.

Seafood Platter Salad
a medley of chefs `tit bits` including fish, prawns, tuna & smoked salmon served with a marie rose sauce and mixed salad.
Our chefs salads are served with buttery new potatoes or home cooked chips.
